TavulliaVale: the presentation of the keys to the city to Valentino Rossi
On September 7, 2023, Tavullia (Pesaro-Urbino/PU) celebrated one of its most illustrious sons with the TavulliaVale event, which attracted thousands of attendees: the presentation of the keys to the city to Valentino Rossi. This ceremony, a symbol of respect and gratitude, saw the legendary motorcycle racer receive a unique recognition, the city key crafted by us at Tijey.
Mayor Francesca Paolucci expressed the significance of this gesture with emotion: "A tribute we feel we must give you. It is clear from the people here, how you have carried the name of Tavullia, and how your name is known worldwide. Inside the box is the titanium key to the city; you have always embodied great sporting values. You are a legend, and Tavullia is proud to have you." These words reflect the deep connection between Valentino and his hometown, a small municipality of just over 8,000 residents that has become famous worldwide thanks to him.
The event was attended by over 7,000 fans of "The Doctor," who gathered to celebrate their idol. The evening, broadcast live on Sky, was a tribute not only to Rossi’s extraordinary career but also to his human and sporting values. "The presentation of the keys to the city is a deeply symbolic act, recognizing a unique career, but above all of Valentino Rossi's value, an athlete who continues to amaze us," added the mayor.
The key of Tavullia: a masterpiece of engineering
The key presented to Valentino Rossi is made of grade 5 titanium, a special metal that conveys strength and power. It's creation was made possible thanks to our high-precision machinery, while its refined design and attention to detail highlight the essence of Valentino Rossi’s career.
Equally important is the box, rich in symbolism, which holds the precious tribute featuring engraved with:
- The number 46, which has accompanied Rossi since the beginning of his career and with which he has branded his managerial venture, the Sky Racing Team VR46;
- The sun and the moon, representing his personality: sunny and cheerful and smily, but also moody and irascible.
- Fluorescent blue and yellow colors, applied through anodization, which give the object it's distinctive beauty.
The presentation of the keys to the city of Tavullia to Valentino Rossi is not just a tribute to his extraordinary achievements; it’s also a celebration of values that transcend the world of sport. The "Goblin of Tavullia" accepted this honor with the same humility and gratitude that he has always shown throughout his career.

All’interno dello scrigno c’è la chiave in titanio della città, hai sempre portato grandi valori sportivi. Sei una leggenda, Tavullia è orgogliosa di averti".
Queste parole riflettono il profondo legame tra Valentino e la sua città natale, un piccolo comune di poco più di 8mila abitanti che grazie a lui è diventato famoso in tutto il mondo.
L'evento ha visto la partecipazione di oltre 7mila fan del 'Dottore', accorsi per celebrare il loro idolo. La serata, trasmessa in diretta su Sky, è stata un tributo non solo alla carriera straordinaria di Rossi, ma anche al suo valore umano e sportivo.
"La consegna delle chiavi della città è un atto fortemente simbolico, il riconoscimento di una carriera unica, ma anche e soprattutto del valore di Valentino Rossi, uno sportivo che continua a stupirci" (ha aggiunto la sindaca)
La Chiave di Tavullia: un capolavoro d’ingegneria
La chiave consegnata a Valentino Rossi è in titanio grado 5, un metallo speciale che esprime forza e potenza. La creazione della chiave è stata resa possibile grazie ai nostri macchinari di altissima precisione, mentre il suo design ricercato e la cura dei dettagli enfatizzano la carriera e l'essenza di Valentino Rossi.
Non meno importante è lo scrigno, ricco di simboli, che custodisce il prezioso tributo, su cui sono stati incisi:
- il numero 46, che ha accompagnato Rossi fin dall'inizio della sua carriera e col quale ha siglato la sua iniziativa manageriale, la scuderia Sky Racing Team VR46;
- il sole e della luna, rappresentativi della sua personalità: solare e sorridente, ma anche lunatico e irascibile.
- i colori blu e giallo fluo, applicati tramite anodizzazione, che conferiscono all'oggetto una bellezza distintiva.
La consegna delle chiavi della città di Tavullia a Valentino Rossi non è solo un tributo ai suoi straordinari successi, ma anche una celebrazione di valori che trascendono il mondo dello sport. Il "Folletto di Tavullia" ha accettato questo onore con la stessa umiltà e gratitudine che ha sempre dimostrato durante la sua carriera.
Anche noi di Tijey siamo orgogliosi di aver fatto parte di questa celebrazione.
